This experience is personally led by Shontell Patrice, Owner of Luxe Clothing Boutique, with nearly 9 years of firsthand experience buying, selling and building in the fashion boutique industry.

At Luxe, we truly believe there’s room for all of us to win. Instead of keeping the knowledge, supplier connections and lessons learned along the way to ourselves, we’re opening the door for other women who are ready to create their own space—and income—in fashion.

This isn't simply about going to LA to shop. You'll receive hands-on support before, during AND after LA to help you understand the buying process and make more informed business decisions.

BEFORE LA — Boutique Prep Session

Before the trip, we'll meet virtually to prepare you for the experience, including:

• Identifying your ideal customer

• Establishing your buying budget

• Discussing what inventory you should be looking for

• Preparing you to navigate the Fashion District

• Making sure you understand what documentation you'll need if you plan to purchase wholesale

IN LA — The Buying Experience

Now we put it into action.

You'll shop the LA Fashion District alongside Shontell and receive hands-on help with:

• Supplier introductions

• Navigating the wholesale buying process

• Selecting merchandise for YOUR customer

• Quantities and smarter buying decisions

• Pricing, markup and profit discussions in real time

• Understanding what to look for—and what to avoid—when buying inventory

• Creating AI marketing images for selected merchandise

The goal isn't simply to come home with inventory.

The goal is to leave understanding WHY you bought it, how you're going to price it and how you're going to turn that inventory into income.

AFTER LA — Post-Trip Strategy Session

The experience doesn't end when we leave LA.

We'll reconnect virtually to review your purchases, discuss your marketing strategy and map out your next steps for getting your merchandise in front of customers.

YOUR INVESTMENT

$497 per participant

Your $497 registration is an investment in a small-group, hands-on boutique business experience personally led by Shontell Patrice.

You're gaining access to real-world boutique knowledge, supplier connections, buying strategy and personalized support developed through nearly 9 years of experience in the fashion boutique industry.

The registration fee represents the time, expertise, education, access and hands-on support provided throughout the Build a Boutique LA Buying Experience.

Airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, local transportation and merchandise/inventory purchases are separate and are not included in the $497 registration fee.

PURCHASING WHOLESALE INVENTORY

You are not required to purchase inventory during the experience.

If you choose to purchase wholesale merchandise, you'll need the appropriate sales tax/reseller documentation required by your home state.

These registrations are often free or low-cost depending on the state. If you're unsure what you need, we'll help guide you in the right direction before the trip.

CANCELLATION, TRANSFER & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Because this is a limited-capacity experience and planning is based on confirmed registrations, all registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event that Build a Boutique cancels the experience and does not provide a replacement experience.

If your plans change on or before September 30, 2026:
You may transfer your registration to another eligible participant OR apply the full value of your registration one time toward a future Build a Boutique LA Buying Experience.

If your plans change after September 30, 2026:
Your registration cannot be moved to a future experience; however, you may transfer your registration to another eligible participant.

If Build a Boutique reschedules the October 19, 2026 experience:
Your full registration will remain valid. You may attend the rescheduled date or apply your full registration credit toward another Build a Boutique LA Buying Experience held within the following 12 months.

If Build a Boutique cancels the experience and does not offer a replacement experience:
Your $497 registration fee will be refunded.

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own airfare, hotel, meals, local transportation and other travel-related expenses. Build a Boutique and Luxe Clothing Boutique are not responsible for changes, cancellations, fees or losses associated with independently booked travel arrangements.

We strongly encourage participants to consider flexible or refundable airfare and hotel options when making travel arrangements.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation, transfer and rescheduling terms above.
